Tens of thousands of ruling party supporters rally Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to celebrate victory in the national election. The rally was called as provisional returns showed a victory for the ruling Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) and its allies. Ethiopia’s elections board says the EPRDF coalition won 477 seats, about 87 percent of the seats in parliament. Final results will be announced in late June, officials have said.

These people on the demonstration are guaranteed to recieve the food aid by the Ethiopian government unlike the opposition party supporters. The Meles Zenawi supporters are recieving the FOOD AID that is spent by donor nations to feed the people suffering from food shortage while those that didnot support Meles Zenawi’s party suffer from malnutrtion , starvation and in some cases death due to starvation..
