Ethiopia: Oromia Supreme Court Sentenced Convicted Terrorist To Death

The Oromia Supreme Court sentenced a man, who was convicted of terrorist attack in Adaba Town of Western Arssi Zone of Oromia State, to death.

Court Presiding Judge told ENA on Tuesday that the man, Tadesse Haile, was convicted of killing two innocent persons and inflicting heavy injuries on 39 others by throwing hand grenades on May 06, 2010 at a stadium where more than 10,000 people were gathered.

He was also convicted of planting bombs on May 05, 2010 in a place where construction workers were doing their jobs.

The Court passed the sentence after it found the evidence submitted by the prosecutor corroborated the charges filed against the convict.
